Drum lessons (one-to-one) with Nick Smith

 

I teach the drums to adults and children, covering many styles of playing. The lessons are one-to-one and cover many styles of drumming, reading music, drum rudiments, stick control, groove and feel, band interaction, phrasing and much more that is involved in drum kit playing.

I follow the learning path that the pupil's development naturally takes so they can learn relevant skills when they are most ready, able and motivated.

I have been teaching the drums since the year 2000 and was the resident drum tutor at Bern's Drums, Chichester, for 6 years. I have been playing the drums for over 20 years and have been in many bands playing gigs and touring.

If you have the enthusiasm to pick-up the sticks, then you might be surprised at what you can achieve and how much enjoyment you can get out of it. You are not just playing the drums but playing music.
